The breakfast menu was great, with delicious options like fresh fruit, yogurt, and a fabulous vegetarian cooked breakfast that left me energized for the day.
The shower in my room was a bit cramped, making it somewhat inconvenient to enjoy a relaxing experience.

The level of trust. Guests are treated as friends rather than customers. I have never stayed in a hotel that made me feel more at ease. Perfect location coupled with a perfect service, I couldn't have been happier. I will definitely stay there again and would reccomend it to anyone staying in Brighton.

Breakfast choices were excellent with delicious pancakes, but the shower was small and lacked adequate space for toiletries.

The owners were friendly and helpful and our deluxe double was very comfortable, with an excellent bed. The decor everywhere was good. My mother stayed in a single room, which was fine apart from a tiny shower room/W.C. Our daughters had a comfortable double in the basement. The breakfasts were good. The lanes, restaurants and the seafront could hardly be closer, so the hotel is perfect for that sort of trip.
It is very much a townhouse, with loads of stairs, so may not suit a family party. I resorted to 'phoning the children, rather than going down to knock on their door four flights down! The parking is a nightmare, but that reflects on Brighton, not the hotel. We spent 45 minutes trying to park late on Saturday night.

The atmosphere, the decor, the welcoming amenable nature of the staff, the wonderful breakfast,
The shower unit was adequate, if a bit pokey.

Brighton beach vibes ☀️🌊
Super friendly hosts welcomed us like old chommies. Everything was super clean. The brekkie was just unreal, especially the English breakfast, lekker! We also loved how close we were to the pier, just a short walk away!

Great personal service, good location, the most comfortable bed in the world, excellent breakfast, ipod dock in room, access to kitchen/fridge to chill fizz (help yourself to ice, ice bucket and Champagne glasses). The kitchen is immaculately clean....and I mean immaculate! This place is run by real nice guys!
Breakfast tables are very small. Bathroom very small, although well appointed. At the room price (four poster room) I would have expected a bath as well as a shower. Car parking is not easy (but the guys are very helpful providing parking permits and a map showing parking zones). Ref the question about the main reason for choosing hotel - the choice does not include 'previous guest reviews on Booked.net', so I have chosen 'other', which is a bit wide of the mark!.

Couple looking for a cozy experience
Richard and Simon were excellent! The breakfast menu was fantastic, I mean, both the vegetarian and full English were great, and having those brown gluten free bread options was a nice touch.
Though it wasn't exactly a bargain, everything was still acceptable given the quality offered.

We enjoyed the whole experience from arrival to the breakfast sausage. The owners have put a gread deal of thought into providing everything a visitor could need, and then provide several more extras.
Parking is on the street but this was made easy by the provision of a permit and map showing the parking areas.
